Naming Ceremon +Birthday Greeting--for archiving

Naming Ceremony:
We had Akshaj's naming ceremony little late as we wanted to be sure that he will be able to sit through it ...and then there was so much confusion on the appropriate day to do it ..but finally we did manage to it and it went off just fine with Akshaj sleeping all though the post ceremony party (which was on next day)
Birthday:
What to say ..still can't believe he is one ..

Congratulations! Don't they grow up quickly? Thanks for visiting the other day, I loved reading your comments. Regarding what you were asking about my feeding my kids - I can only say that what is required for successful breastfeeding is a dogged, stubborn, never-give-up attitude. Nowadays we have so few successful role models for such an important task with the ready availability of formula. I am an extremely stubborn woman, as my husband will readily testify...but I acquired some really excellent books on the subject which saw me through. One such book was called 'The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding', authored by various authors and contributors. This book is available from an international ngo based in USA called 'La Leche League'. They are a terrific authority on breastfeeding. I also attended one of their meetings when I was at home in Dublin. I met a woman there who had successfully fed three kids with no formula at all in spite of the fact that she worked full-time as a teacher - she expressed her milk and had her mom feed the babies in her absence. You need good info plus support for successful breastfeeding - as well as a stubborn disposition! Thank you so much for visiting and for your kind and appreciative words - I also love visiting your blog! And your baby is lovely! God bless him with a great, long, healthy life!
