Went to gynec ..couldn't get courage to buy home Pregnancy tests...somehow I was sure also..

9. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS?

Yes ,although there was nothing morning about it !!

10. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE?

Nothing which I normally do not crave for ...I can also say I was very scared to eat at that time I had a maina that every food I eat is acidic .

11. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST?

Mostly smells...Non-Veg smell coming from the neighbour's house,polythene smell,aggarbati,dhoop,onion tadka...just smelling for 1 sec would make me vomit.

13. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING?

Wanted a daughter ,but towards the end wanted a boy (and my sixth sense told me its going to be a boy)..maybe because everybody was predicting that I will have a girl.But now to think of it, it is so irrelevant ....girl or boy they are just magical.

14. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY?

Lost lots weight in starting then gained overall 2 kg and baby was born 2.1 kgs

15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER?

Didn't even get my baby to take home for 13 days. :-(

17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY?

Nothing major during pregnancy except infection UTI once and acidity throughout,but there was major complication when my water broke 1 month in advance ..was admitted to hospital ..there was a see-saw that it is water or something else but finally it was time!! still don't know why it happened though.Thankfully was in home at that time.

Manipal Hospital, Bangalore

19. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR?

I was admitted 3 days in advance ..was put on drip so that labour does not occur ..in between removed from the medication for scan then pain started ..put back again on drip afterwards and finally removed ..so maybe total 16-18 hours I guess.
20. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL/BIRTH CENTER?

Hubby

21. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH?

My husband,doctor ,nurses and my baby from inside !!

Natural

No

7 months though his doctor consider him 6 months only!!

27. WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION WHEN THE DOCTOR ANNOUNCED THE SEX OF THE BABY?

Actually was too happy to know it is all over and he is finally out ...couldn't believe it at first

28. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST REACTION ON SEEING THE BABY?

How can such a beautiful baby be born to me !!
