Happy New Year 2011 update

Start of a new year and I realised I have hardly done much update since Akku's birthday ..Anyway to welcome 2011 we had with us 2 of Puneet's relatives(mausi's) coming to bangalore. Akku came with ingenuius way to call both of them 'Muasi bua' together!!(how it came about that name he only knows).He actually quite took to one of "mausi bua" He was rather inseperable from her from the the first day itself which was quite strange for all of us as he is usually shy now with new persons.His granddad was actually looking at him and wondering ki unke pyaar main kaunsi kami reh gaye thi ki 'bua mausi' ke aate hi apne 'babu'(granddad) ko bhool gaya !!When I came back from office after first day Akku didn't come much to me either .. only then his granddad was satisfied saying 'now that he is not even going to his mother I am happy".(Otherwise he stays with me like fevicol ka jod after I return from office)

Chrismas -New year time brings with it chance to hone my baking since Akku has grown enough to demand for cakes now(lots of demands of "Mama cake banao").So for chrismas I made swiss rolls followed by cake on New Years..

 for both I found approval from him as evident from the pics below...I had to drag him out of the house for decorating swiss rolls as he was not ready to wait for it ...

Then we had new year celebrations in our apartment, where for the first time he took part in fancy dress ..I wanted something in which he can enjoy himself and I was sure he would not wear something too decorative ..so decided on Army officer for him ..he had to be literally dragged to stage when his name was announced and just cligned to me...but his friend's name was called after him and once she went on stage then he became quite regular unwelcome guest of stage and had to be dragged back from it !!..he not only landed himself in his frind's entry on stage but also jumped in 2 dance performances ...Thankfully he had not slept since morning and that was enough for him for the day and he slept off after these gate crashings..
