'Pitti' (beating ) is the most loved word of Akshaj these days ...

He not just hits but also says 'pitti' while beating ..

and there is no kind of bais while giving his share of ' pitti' ---he gives it equally to us,his toys,sofa,bed ,door ..anything which/who does not work according to his will..

And stupidly I thought I can have some respite when he is sleeping ..but no ..picture this ...

One fine morning as usual I was sleeping next to him...
Pat came his slap to (as luck would have it) my face
I looked at him still sleeping ...
say what you can do in this situation ??

After 5 minutes he woke up and said 'meetu ro rahi hai'(meetu is a girl his age living next door)
It was easy to undertstand his dream ..in his dream he was beating meetu and she was crying..

All I wanted to say him at that time was not meetu but it was me who should actually cry !!


His 'pitti' thing is becoming really difficult to handle ...generally we will ask him to say sorry ..which he would do but after some time he will again hit ..

If we scold him he cries a lot and we know he is scared as he would do no. 1.

If we try to make him understand that he should not do this ..people get hurt ...he will start slapping himself ....

Now if he is with other kids I am very scared as to what he will do ...he has a very short temper..he just wants his thing to done the way he wants and that too pretty quickly..otherwise all tantrums start ..

My Sins Against Gender Stereotypes

Passed to me my Deeps..this tag is surely spreading like wild fire ...and considering how common the answers are I would say most of these no longer qualify in 'man's world' category anymore ...

Well this is the manly side of me :

1.I generally do not cry.I guess I am more practical than emotional.I didn't even cry when my bitch died which was strange for even my parents as she was centre of my life at that time..I really miss her even but didn't cry at that time.

2.I love watching horror shows/action movies.I used to watch 'Zee horror show'(which was only horror show at that time') at 12 'o clock at night all alone with lights switched off .And I just loved telling horror stories to my friends and totally freaking them out.Sadly Puneet does not share my passion for horror flicks so I had to sacrifice my 'horror' passion for domesticity

3. I am the cockrock slayer,insect slayer of the house.

4.I do not do bargaining though I love getting them done by Puneet.He is great at it .He definitely has to follow me on all my bargain shopping places.

5. I do not talk to my maids to get a update on what's happening in neighbour's house.And generally also I am not a talkative person.


6.This one is coming as a topper in so many list.Though I love jewelery but I don't like wearing it.I only wear my ear-rings and my ring for daily use.Same goes for make-up or rather lack of it.

7.I have watched cricket matches right in the middle of my board exams and watching soccer was a ritual when I was small.We all used to go to my mama's place when we were kids and there all the kids(all my mausi used to come to mama's house during vacation time ) used to watch soccer matches with jam filled Parle G biscuits (dripped in milk and freezed).Sadly as went out of house to study I could no longer follow it that much.But trying to see them this time around with little time I have.As for cricket ,I get very angry when I hear comments like 'we don't understand why men watch cricket so much' ..well if women in general can't like without shopping or having daily dose of soap operas why men(or women) can't have their share of cricket.


8. I do all the photo/clicking/,uploading photo/video,Internet searches,laptop/PC troubleshooting,CD cutting in my house.

9.I have asked Puneet to skip traffic light .i.e when we are coming late at night and all streets are empty.

10. I have disappeared in middle of my office to watch movies and return back later.And have bunked college as well.
