Just thought to put up here my progress as far as computer/laptop is concerned...you see mama is still not able to figure out it it is good or bad what I have learnt so far ..so she has not updated my blog ..so I thought since I have become so computer savvy why not I do it myself ....so this all I can do all by myself.
- I can open computer all by myself..right from putting in the plug to getting the display.You see it is so simple ..u just need to put in the 'tingadi'(that is what you all call as plug')..once u put it you will hear a sound 'guaan' that's when i need to wait ..since papa's comp is bit old some error pops up and I need to press F1 key ..then 2 users come one in my grandpa's name and other one papa's.Till some time back i had to call babu(my grandpa) at this point so that he can drag the mouse to his name and login ..but not any more ..no Sir I can drag it myself and log in .(thank God no password is there for now)..sometimes wires are little loose so I press and can make them Ok as well.
- Then I can open songs folder and I can select my favorite song and play it.I can increase decrease the volume to my liking.Only problem is I can play one song at a time ..so I do call my mentor ..by babu to play another one .But I can easily show which song I want from the folder.See little bit of 1-2-3 whatever I have learnt is coming much handy here .
- What I totally love about Media player is that you can keep on changing effects -green red blue,temple,lights,circles and what not.This is by far my favorite activity on computer.
- Then I can open paint and do what - paint offcouse !!.I can even do this on a laptop without mouse.I can press two keys together to drag the mouse and paint and erase (Thanks to my Chachu who is visiting us here these days) and paint again like in below pic.
- I can open games .I try to play solitaire in it .Though I have no idea what the games is all about yet I love moving cards here and there
- I love opening calculator again and again.
- I need some help in opening notepad.But once somebody opens it for me .I can write ABCD and erase it myself and write again.
- I can close a window and do shutdown of system as well.
- I know from where mama searches for my favorite rhymes.She tries to fool me by saying she does not know where to search for ..so I show her (what she calls as google tab) and tell her to type for my favorite rhyme there.I also know that they take time for 'loading'.If mama gets impatient ..I tell her " Wait mama..its loading".
- All these developments mama was taking in her stride as part of my growing up but I guess she really got turned off when one day while seeing my alphabet toy I saw a 'X' and and started telling her 'Mama windows ...Mama Windows" !!
